EasyMix Concrete’s History
team

Andrew Collins and James Holding, started EasyMix Concrete Holdings Ltd 3 years ago, after seeing a delivery of concrete by a now competitor. The business is based on a popular and successful system of concrete delivery used extensively in the USA. As already described, EasyMix Concrete provides ‘concrete on tap’, via mobile batching plants using computer controlled volumetric mixing systems. The two key advantages of the system over drum-mixer deliveries are, firstly, the customer ‘only pays for what they use’ and secondly the mix type and slump can be changed on site.

EasyMix Concrete has developed a very effective and profitable concrete delivery model. The main business (80%) comes from within a radius of 10 miles in a built up area. Their growth and profitability over a relatively short period of time not only proves that the demand for the product and service is great, but that they have the systems and processes in place to successfully fulfil the requirement.

  • Is a professional builder with 20 years experience, working on some prestigious developments in the Hertfordshire and surrounding South East areas.
  • A master joiner, noted for his skill in producing wooden stairways in commercial buildings and private homes.

  • Has been involved in Franchising since 1974, both in the UK and France setting up 64 franchised photographic outlets.
  • Was a senior consultant at McKinsey & Company (management consultants), and later a main board director of Bovis Holdings (Bovis Homes)
  • Successful investment property developer
